Stir up your power, O Lord, and come. Protect us by your strength and save us from the threatening dangers of our sins, for you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
GO WITH IT… (after-all, that’s what FAITH is all about)
You know… we are not meant to know everything… I personally, love the journey discovering the truth…
The TRUTH written for us this week comes from a letter from our brother the Apostle Paul… IT READS…
1 Corinthians 1:3-9
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, 5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, 6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, 7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 8 who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
I pray, that I can use Paul’s writing in my life… you see… I am going to an Episcopalian Church Service before my Lutheran Church Service…
I don’t want to be judgmental and I pray that those people have the same intention… but I think I will introduce that small catechism to the Pastor…
“The Small Catechism is a writing of Martin Luther meant to instruct Christians the fundamentals of being Christian.”
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN AN EPISCOPALIAN BISHOP??? WHAT’S WITH THE HAT AND FUNKY STAFF???
I also want to share with you the Holy Gospel written in Mark…
GO WITH IT… (after-all, that’s what FAITH is about)
33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”
I LOVE MY CHURCH FAMILY!!!

Jesus Appears to the Disciples
19 When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. 21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” 22 When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
